Comking 400 kW Heavy-Duty EV Charger | Engineered for High-Power Performance
As electric heavy-duty vehicles become increasingly common, charging infrastructure is evolving toward higher power, faster charging, and greater reliability. Delivering high charging power, however, places greater demands on power conversion, thermal management, and high-current electrical components.

► Why Does a 400 kW Charger Require So Much Hardware?
Comking’s 400 kW Heavy-Duty EV Charger integrates 10 charging modules to deliver high-power charging for electric trucks and other heavy-duty EVs.
With two charging connectors, each capable of delivering up to 300 A, the system can deliver up to 600 A in total and 400 kW of output power.
High-current charging requires robust electrical components, reliable power distribution, and effective thermal management. The substantial hardware inside a high-power charger is therefore not simply a matter of size—it is essential to maintaining safe, stable, and reliable operation under demanding charging conditions.
► Built to Handle High Current
Heavy-duty copper busbars distribute high current efficiently across the charging modules, supported by dedicated insulation and protection components.
The charger also uses a high-efficiency air-cooling system with high-airflow fans to dissipate heat generated during high-power charging, helping maintain stable system performance under sustained load.
► Engineered for Reliable Performance
For high-power charging equipment, reducing size and weight is only one part of the design equation. Comking focuses on achieving the right balance between power output, thermal management, component quality, and long-term reliability.
In addition to the 400 kW solution, Comking offers 640 kW and 1,440 kW charging systems for a wide range of heavy-duty EV applications.
