The CKWB-12 Intelligent Outdoor High-Voltage AC Vacuum Circuit Breaker employs vacuum arc extinguishing technology and SF6 gas insulation. As a three-phase 50Hz outdoor power distribution device rated for 12kV systems, it represents an enhanced iteration of the ZW20-12 pole-mounted vacuum circuit breaker. The housing incorporates VSP5 gas-sealing technology with improved sealing in the line inlet/outlet conduits, delivering superior airtightness that prevents SF6 gas leakage and ensures immunity to environmental influences. Its spring-operated mechanism has been miniaturized and optimized for enhanced reliability and stability through gear transmission and mechanical anti-recoil technology, achieving multi-fold improvements over conventional spring mechanisms. The main circuit utilizes an innovative retractable chain-link structure for shaft-sleeve contacts, significantly reducing contact resistance and thermal rise. These advancements establish the CKWB-12 as a maintenance-free solution and a premium choice among pole-mounted circuit breakers.
The CKWB-12 Intelligent Outdoor High-Voltage AC Vacuum Circuit Breaker demonstrates superior electrical and mechanical performance, enabling its widespread application. It is primarily designed to interrupt and close load currents and short-circuit currents in 10kV power systems. Suitable for protection and control applications in substations, industrial/mining facilities, and rural power distribution networks, it is particularly effective in grid scenarios requiring frequent operations.
Equipped with our proprietary CWBC-1 Intelligent Controller, this circuit breaker enables remote control of opening/closing operations. It incorporates comprehensive protection features including overcurrent protection, instantaneous trip protection, low-current grounding protection, and undervoltage protection, along with advanced functions such as auto-reclosing with acceleration and inrush current suppression. When deployed with multiple controllers configured for 0-3 auto-reclosing attempts across different line segments, it forms an intelligent distribution automation system for autonomous line protection. This approach delivers optimal protection effectiveness with low implementation and operational costs, eliminates coordination complexities with backup circuit breakers' timing settings, and proves particularly advantageous for urban and rural power grid applications.
